Centre's New CEO Embracing the Role » 2019-Mar-11

George Jeffrey Children’s Centre was excited to announce Tina Bennett as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) last fall. Former CEO, Tom Walters, passed the torch to Tina in November 2018, as he prepared for the world of retirement. Under Tom’s leadership, the Children’s Centre took significant steps forward to provide care for more children and families throughout our region. Tom recognized the importance of teamwork and collaboration. His contributions to the Centre and strong relationship with our Foundation will always be cherished.

Tina brings a breadth of experience to the CEO position, including close to 5 years as Manager of Client Care with George Jeffrey and 20 years prior to that in the mental health field. She is a graduate of Lakehead University and originally from Thunder Bay. Her passion for working with children and families shines through - just ask anyone who’s worked with her!

It’s an exciting time in the children’s rehabilitation sector. Tina is looking forward to continuing to work with the strong team of professionals at the Centre and collaborate with the Foundation to give children the opportunity to reach their greatest potential.
