Driving Down Barriers To Care » 2019-Mar-11

In an effort to alleviate barriers which prevent some clients from attending appointments at the Centre, staff and clinicians proposed the Transportation Pilot Program to help more people receive the care they deserve.

Clients are now able to access transit/cab passes to get to and from the Centre for appointments. This project comes as part of our effort to expand access to care, and is proudly funded by George Jeffrey Children's Foundation.

The generosity of our community will enable us to fully roll out the project over the coming years.

UPDATE: We are currently seeking funding for the second phase of this project! To learn more or get involved, please contact Kirsten at (807)625-6050 or kuntinen@georgejeffrey.com
