Foundation Welcomes Steve MacDonald as New Executive Director » 2017-May-09

The Board of George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation is honoured to announce Steve MacDonald as the new Executive Director of George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation.  Steve assumed the role of Executive Director May 8th, 2017 taking over from incumbent Mary Anne Comuzzi who is retiring.

Steve has over 16 years of public sector employment experience combined with a Master of Public Administration degree from Queen’s University’s School of Policy Studies. He is relocating from Peterborough to accept the new position in Thunder Bay.

 “I’ve had the pleasure of spending time in Thunder Bay on several occasions and I can see there’s a strong sense of community here. I’m looking forward to being part of the community,” Steve explains. “I’m confident that my skills and senior management experience will help me make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in Thunder Bay.”

 We are happy to welcome Steve to our organization and our community!
