Ordinary people show extraordinary generosity by leaving a legacy gift to a charity in their wills. This is especially true of long-time Thunder Bay resident Annie (Werbicka) Childs. Annie, who passed away recently in her 93rd year, bequeathed $100,000 to George Jeffrey Children's Foundation to assist children dealing with physical and developmental disabilities. On Thursday, January 31st,  children from George Jeffrey Children's Centre were invited on a sleigh ride by a group of Bombardier Health & Safety representatives from around the globe! Every year the group gives back to the community by hosting a special event. Enterprise Car Rental Foundation Gives Again » 2012-Dec-10

George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation is once again a fortunate recipient of a $5,000 donation from the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation. Michael Dziedic, assistant manager at the Arthur St location, was pleased to be able to help secure the donation.  Michael has a history with the Centre dating back to 1994 when his brother began receiving therapy at the Centre.  This is the second donation that the Foundation has received from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. ...
