CIBC Wood Gundy's Miracle Day Donation!
CIBC Miracle Day™ is a proud tradition that has helped to improve the lives of millions of children since it began in 1984. Every year, on the first Wednesday in December, our local CIBC Wood Gundy Wealth Advisors donate their fees and commissions to help kids in need. Since its inception, CIBC Miracle Day has raised over $266 million for children's charities globally.
On Monday, September 11, George Jeffrey Children's Foundation's Executive Director, Cindy Levanto, was presented with a cheque for $5,000 from our local CIBC Wood Gundy Wealth Advisors.
Cindy Levanto said "Thank you CIBC for once again supporting our Foundation with your Miracle Day donations - we are so grateful for your continued support. This donation is being used to purchase 3 new kick sleds and various support cushions for little bodies and heads. These kicksleds will be used in our recreation and leisure program and are also brought into to our local schools so that children with mobility challenges can participate in winter outdoor activities."
Paul Johnston, Senior Wealth Advisor said "Our team here at CIBC Wood Gundy are always happy to participate in Miracle Day and when you know that our donations will directly help the children and youth seen at George Jeffrey Children's Centre it's really meaningful to us."
