George Jeffrey Children's Foundation and Centre are celebrating Fort William Rotary Club's generosity that is bringing significant enhancements to services at George Jeffrey Children's Centre.
As part of their support, Fort William Rotary has funded a utility van that will be used for getting trial equipment to children's homes and schools, as well as for transporting equipment for the Centre's Children's recreation programs including sledge hockey, fishing, kayaking, bicycling, and other outdoor programming.
"In my twenty years working at George Jeffrey Children's Centre we have never had a vehicle of this calibre. It is a pleasure to drive our new utility van, which is roomy and will serve all our needs transporting special needs equipment," said Kim Sjolund, Seating and Mobility Technician.
"Fort William Rotary is committed to supporting the unique needs of our community. We are pleased to support the purchase of this new van which will provide a significant impact on clients for years to come," shared Stephen Margarit, Fort William Rotary Club President.
Thank you to Fort William Rotary for your continued support of George Jeffrey Children's Foundation. You continue to make a difference for children with special needs in our community!
