Smile Cookie Campaign Raises Nearly $120K

Another successful Smile Cookie Campaign was held in Thunder Bay, May 1st to 7th , raising a record-breaking $117,862 to be split between George Jeffrey Children's Foundation and Thunder Bay Professional Firefighter's Toys for Tots! 2023 marks the sixth year that both George Jeffrey Children's Foundation and the Thunder Bay Professional Firefighters Toys for Tots have been supported by the week-long campaign. Thanks to the generous support of local residents, children will receive specialized care at George Jeffrey Children's Centre's and thousands of toys will go to children in need this Christmas season, through Toys for Tots. For 27 years, Tim Horton's has been raising funds for local charities, and this year reached a record-breaking achievement of 19.7 million! This year, more than 550 charities from coast-to-coast-to-coast will be receiving the proceeds from Smile Cookies. With this year's amount, over $100 million has been raised since the campaign's inception in 1996 in Hamilton.
