We are pleased to present the Best Western Plus Dryden Hotel & Conference Centre's Hometown Heroes Children's Charity Golf Classic, hosted by Carter Hutton in support of the George Jeffrey Children's Foundation.
Taking place at the beautiful Fort William Golf and Country Club, this tournament is taking a new direction this year, one we are sure everyone will enjoy!
Due to the continued gathering restrictions in place to protect the province against COVID-19, and keeping in mind the health and safety of our guests, sponsors, volunteers and event partners, we are excited to announce our new hybrid-format event.
Golfers will enjoy 18 holes of socially-distanced golf throughout the day, taking part in the various contests and activities scattered across the grounds in a friendly and competitive manner. Once the scores are added up, guests will head to the clubhouse where they will pick up their packaged dinners to-go, and join us from the comfort of their homes for a virtual dinner, awards, and celebration of our very own Hometown Heroes!
All funds raised through this event will be proudly supporting George Jeffrey Children's Foundation. Proceeds raised will allow more children and youth in Thunder Bay and the surrounding region to receive the enhanced care for their physical, developmental, and social special needs.
Together, we are ensuring children with special needs across Northwestern Ontario reach their greatest potential!
